Who May Borrow
Any covenant-signing member of Harvest Mission Community Church of Jakarta has borrowing privileges. If a non-member wishes to borrow, he/she must do so through a covenant-signing member.

Length of Borrowing & Renewals
Checked-out items will need to be returned in 3 weeks. Patrons may extend it by renewing items, which grants patrons extra two weeks. Materials may be renewed in person at the Resources Table after any Sunday Celebration. An item can be renewed unlimited times as long as there is no one waiting for the item. Renewals must be made in person at the Resources Table.

Number of items
Each patron may check out a maximum of three items at one time.

Waiting-List for Checked-Out Materials
Patrons may place holds on materials checked out by another person by putting their information on a waiting list. When the materials are returned, notice is sent to the borrower who made the request indicating that the materials are now available for use. Materials will be held for one week only.
Items CANNOT be renewed if:
1. Someone else requests the item
  If another patron has placed a hold on the item borrowed, the item may not be renewed. Borrowers are notified if this occurs
2. An item is overdue
3. Late fees have not been paid

Overdue Items
Responsibility for the prompt return of materials is placed on the borrower. An item that has not been returned or renewed by its due date (within 3 weeks) may not be renewed and is subject to a non-refundable Rp 15,000,- per item per week overdue fee (i.e. 1 item 2 weeks late: Rp. 15,000,- x 2 weeks = Rp. 30,000,-). If the item is not returned within six weeks, the item will be considered lost and will require replacement at the expense of the patron responsible. A borrowing hold will also be placed on a patron who has not returned materials and/or paid overdue charges in accordance with library policies.

Damaged, Lost, or Unreturned Items

No writing is permitted in the books or it will be considered damaged. All costs for overdue, damaged, lost, or unreturned materials will be charged to the person in whose name they were checked out.
